I am having the following problem with an Apple LaserWriter I. (not a Plus) When using the paper tray, the printer does not stop loading paper. Under normal circumstances, when a single page is printed, one piece of paper is fed through the printer. After that page is printed, the paper path should be clear, because no more sheets are fed into the paper path. The problem I am observing is while paper is fed through print engine subsequent pieces of paper are loaded into the paper path, causing jams and unreliable service. The printed page is fine but we can print out only a single page and we have wasted paper in the process of trying to figure out what is wrong. Has anyone seen a similar problem and can a fix be suggested? This printer still has a lot of life and I hate to take it out of service. Any help would be much appreciated.
