Was it ever? Apparantly legit. CBC radio news last Friday had an item about the kid. He got enough get-well cards to get him into the Guiness Book, as he wanted. His father said that they had gotten over 1.4 million cards. (He needed just over a million to break the record). The kid said "Thanks and hello to all you Canadians that sent cards.
