It sounds great (16-bit samples), was a good value for the money, and has two stereo audio outputs (4 jacks on the back.) disadvantages: It has a user interface from hell, but then most drum machines do. The power adapter runs so hot you can't touch it. I keep expecting it to burst into flames. When the HR-16 came out Alesis made much of the fact that it had just solid percussion sounds on board, no novelty sounds. Well the HR-16B is an HR-16 with different sounds, including novelty sounds. --- According to the Constitution, the Constitution is unconstitutional: --- David Phillip Oster --U.S.Constitution I.10.1: "No State shall Arpa: oster@dewey.soe.berkeley.edu --enter into any treaty, alliance, or Uucp: {uwvax,decvax}!ucbvax!oster%dewey.soe.berkeley.edu -- confederation..."
