Please send any information which may be helpful to me to get XINU to run on a PC. I'm also planning to use PC-XINU in an OS course this coming spring semester. There is a version of Comer's text, co-authored with Tim Fossum, that is based on a PC version of XINU. The details: Operating System Design Volume I The XINU Approach Douglas Comer, Timothy Fossum Prentice Hall, 1988 ISBN 0-13-638180-4 (v. 1) The PC-XINU source code is also available. I have an old (c. 1986) version of the source that predates the version of XINU discussed in the text. Unfortunately, I'm having a lot of trouble locating the current version of the source. Please let me know if I can be of any other help. - Ralph Droms (On leave from Bucknell University) NRI rdroms@nri.reston.va.us 1895 Preston White Drive, Suite 100 (703) 620-8990 Reston, VA 22091 (703) 620-0913 (fax)
