The good news is that we have such a program (ping for the Mac). It was just hacked up from the "standard" Unix ping. The bad news are: 1) it is an MPW tool; 2) it requires our TCP/IP drivers (TCPort) to run; 3) it is part of our developer's toolkit (and thus isn't free).
