Lines: 38 Ron, 1) not unless you choose the bypass option when you set up the spooler. 2) If you set the spooler to allow bypasses, it is my impression that yes, the user gets a direct connection to the printer. 3) It's not very efficient but I have had the server "capture" printers in other zones. It may not make much sense as far as network topology, but I think you can do it. 4) Unless they can see the screen of the server, no. One way would be to use timbuktu on the server and users disks, and allow the users access to observe but not control the server. On a followup note, I wish to run a network with a LaserWriter Spooler and a modified Laser Prep file. Is there any way to do this with a Mac based spooler?
