It worked fine with the default in the autoexec.bat of both expanded and extended. (so I don't think it is an IRQ problem.) The problem began when the user went for all expanded memory. Now even disabling all non-conventional memory doesn't work. Like I said, it looks like something is stopping the upper layers of PC-NFS from working correctly (DMA contention?)
