Lines: 21 If you have an IP router that is connected to subnets (which are all part of the same IP network), what is the router supposed to do with an directed IP broadcast datagram? (i.e. destination address is <-1> where is same as the local net) I had thought that the IP router would forward such a datagram to all connected subnets. The SUN IP router does not do this. I do not know what other routers do. RFC 922 says that this should be possible (Section 6.2). RFC 985 is not much help. Any opinions?
