Lines: 16 I am in the process of evaluating various UNIX alternatives to replace an aging 11/23 system running a System V variant. Currently it looks like I will set up a 386 XENIX system. However, there is quite a few development tools for older LSI-11 products that are written in assembler that I would like to run on the new machine (the 386 running XENIX). Instead of rewriting a lot of this code, it would be nice to have the 11/23 binaries run on the new machine under an emulator, or possibly perhaps on a source compatible 386 assembler. Are there any PDP-11 emulators or source compatible 386 assemblers out there? in source/XENIX binaries freeware (PD)/shareware/payware form? Help? Thanks in advance, -- Ciao, -- Mark Salyzyn @ alberta!adec23!mark
