The programs IMAGE-ED (Fish Disk 242) and ICONMERGER (Fish Disk 182) are wonderful. IMAGE-ED allows you to draw your own images and save them as icons, or C source code, or whatever. ICONMERGER reads two IFF brushes and turns them into a single alternate-image icon.
