There is a PD program called TC BOOT SLOT that will allow you to use an IVS Trumpcard an a SSCI HD with AMAX. The reason one can do this is b'cause the IVS uses a 5380 SCSI protocol chip in its design. This is the same chip that is used in the Mac. The catch is you have to use your Trumpcard in the closest slot to the CPU (ie Slot 1) and you can only format and partition on a Mac. I assume this is done by a Mac prg. that will format AmigaDos and partition for an Amiga. The program is shareware ($15) done by Steven A Yeager. The issue of Amiga Sentry is Vol3 Issue1. The HD also needs to be dedicated (no Janus here). I would like to thank Steven (haloooo.. Steven are you out there in NetLand?) for what sounds like a nifty prg. adam hill Inter: hill@evax.arl.utexas.edu ----------------------------------- I wouldn't marry her with a 10 foot pole... -- a Farberism
