He'll need some form of graphics terminal emulation, and he's logging in through an Ethernet, so the terminal emulator can't be directly tied to a serial port. Can anyone recommend an affordable graphics terminal emulation package (preferably better than Tektronix-like things) that runs under the DM and over an Ethernet? Or would it just be cheaper to put CA-DISSPLA on his machine? Personally, I think it would be better to create X applications for the Cray, but that's someone else's job.
