Well, I have finally seen an ad mentioning the Apple IIE! It was an
advertisement in this morning's paper from a major chain of Apple
resellers here in Australia offering to let owners of color IIE's
"upgrade" to a Mac Plus by trading in their computers. The trade-in
price was about $500 (U.S.$350) less than the cash price!

How they figure giving up a color monitor and the speed of Appleworks
is a upgrade I don't know. I reckon if the gave me $500 and a Mac SE I
might think of trading -- but not for long.
