I would like to ask the subscribers of info-apple to determine whether they
can reach this newsgroup using a standard news reader, and if they can, then
to please un-subscribe from the list.  The reason for this is that I have
noticed a few addresses on the list that should be able to get to the
newsgroup via 'rn' or some other news reader, and there is no need to waste
our collective tax dollars (as well as the corporate dollars involved for
each site along the path).

Also, some basic information on INFO-APPLE@APPLE.COM:

	The subscription and un-subscription is handled by
	info-apple-request@apple.com.  Send your requests to that
	address, DO NOT post your requests
	to this newsgroup, it is a waste of time and money.

	If are not aware of this yet, INFO-APPLE is now hosted
	at apple.com, not at brl.mil.  Please make a note of this.
