For the first year or two I hardly ever used my printer so it didn't bother me too much. Over the course of the last few years it has really gotten on my nerves and would apreciate some help with it. Now since you're probably wondering what this problem is now I'll tell you. Sometimes (read 98% of the time) when I try to print something all the printer does is spit out some garbage. The only way I have been able to print anything is to turn the computer off and on until the printer decides it wants to cooperate. Also, lately (within the last year), if I am printing any long documents, I hold my breath hoping that it will get through the entire thing without any problems. It seems that sometimes the printer decides that it wants to print in compressed form over some short string of characters. Once it goes back to standard it continues normally, except sometimes it starts printing as if the middle of the page were the left margin and things really get screwed up. Does anyone have any idea what has been and is the trouble with this thing? Thanks in advance. =============================================================== || Jeff Traigle / Captain Chaos || Usenet : || ||================================|| jstraigl@uokmax || || "I can resist everything || || || except temptation." -Wilde || || ===============================================================
