Both of them failed utterly to read a nice blank but formatted prodos disk, so I used the copy II+ 8.0 utilities to check drive speed. The Franklin turns in a steady 002.2, and the apple drive runs arount from 0 to 250, randomly. Could this be a problem with the drive itself, or the drive card, or simply old age, or what? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
