Use the vconfig program that came with your card to set it to EGA mode. Works for me with other programs that otherwise have the same symptom, (like codeview) but I don't use Quick C. OTHER PROBLEMS: I love the 132x44 line mode (I have a Nec MultiSync 3D), but the ANSI.SYS file that comes with MS-DOS 4.01 doesn't seem to like it. Any ideas? ALSO: When I change into 132x44 mode, the screen alignment jumps about an inch to the right. If I adjust it properly, then the next mode change makes it jump back an inch to the left, making it necessary to adjust again. NEC and Gateway said that the problem is with my monitor; Gateway sent a new one and it does the same. A friend with identical setup gets identical results.
