The new PC Magazine (Dec. 26, 1989; Vol 8. No. 22) tells
of a simple way to have your TSR's use less memory.

On p. 287, they explain that many TSR's
keep a full copy of the environment. I was able to
save 2K by loading all my TSR's before setting any
environment variables.
