There is a ShareWare program for Word 3/4 which addresses the equation (figure, etc.) numbering problem as well as doing bibliographies. It is called WordRef and is available for anonymous ftp from sumex (filed as /info-mac/app/wordref-12.hqx). There is some chance it might be made to work with FullWrite. --Mark
