Well, in fact, I have no bones with the drives, just the software. I bought SilverServer from them, and decided it was a piece of junk. The docs. say that it might attempt to re-initialize your drive when you install it if you have a weird hard drive. I have a SE with a HD20, and it got re-initialized. Further, the whole thing crashed two days later. There was simply no way I was going to run through the entire thing again with my Mac II with the Apple HD40. I returned it, and wrote them a letter about what a hunk of junk SilverInitializer was. Oh, yeah. The tech support was clueless. Greg James greg@cpsc.ucalgary.ca
