Is Ashton-Tate ever >going to upgrade Fullwrite (or are they waiting for System 7.0?) ? I use FullWrite (on a MacII*, otherwise it is a pig - not unusable, but annoying at times). I used it to write my thesis and didn't have any problems; just one crash occurred. Basically, I like FullWrite. I wish it had a table environment like Word 4.0 rather than a drawing environment, but hey, that's ok. I like its bibliography system and classifications. There really isn't much that it doesn't do that I want except for a few things: 1. I want the ability to create one long document out of several shorter ones. The TOC, indices, biblographies, classifications, etc must bridge the various pieces. 2. The bibliography system should be compatible with EndNote and I should be able to "feed" the bibliographic listing from a given database. Once the entries are there, I can refer to them and have them show up. I would very much like to see FullWrite grow and live. It has potential and I haven't experienced the font problems (read "ATM incompatibility") that I have with Word 4.0. I have both and use them for different writing tasks - I must say that FullWrite is my technical writing environment of choice, but I use Word for all my short-to-medium writing tasks and reserve MacWrite for my quickie stuff. So, I'm a software hog... shoot me. :^) -- Jeffrey A.
