It works well, but has some features inactivated as it is a DEMO version. I am willing to pay $$$ for the full version, but can't. Here's why: I got the program from Educorp, a shareware clearing house (before I knew about ftp, sumex-aim archives, etc) and have seen it now in sumex-aim, but nowhere have I found a way to contact the author. The program was written by John Raymonds. He gives a GEnie address as "RAYMONDS" and CompuServe "Delphi: JONES CIS: 76174, 205", but I don't have a modem (I have a hardwire 9600 baud connection in my room). Does anyone know where I can reach John Raymonds? A snail mail address? Does anyone know where to get a later or complete version of Vision Lab? Finally, are their any other programs out there that can do the things I use this program for? It converts GIF, Macpaint, Pixel Paint, EPSF, PICT, PICT resources, and Greymap files. The full version is supposed to support TIFF and allow greater modification capabilities. I can't use Vision since I currently only have a four bit (16 color) video card. Hopefully this will change over Christmas. Thanks for any information. /-------------- Paul Eric Menchen / /| /| meuchen@grad1.cis.upenn.edu /------ / | / | meuchen@eniac.seas.upenn.edu / / |/ | (strike UUCP if you see it - I don't /__________________ know why our mailer does that!)
