Message-ID: <191@tenset.UUCP> Date: 28 Nov 89 18:46:43 GMT Reply-To: paul@tenset.UUCP (Paul Andrews) Organization: Tenset Technologies Limited, Cambridge, United Kingdom Lines: 18 Does anyone know of a way of recovering data from a damaged PageMaker 3 file? Actually the file isn't 'damaged'. I used 'Save' when I meant to use 'Save as...'. The result is I saved a document with 2 pages over a document that had 40 something pages. The file however is still 1.7MB big, so I assume that most of the information is in there somewhere. The question is can I get at it? If anyone knows of a way of doing this (maybe there's a recovery app that might be able to do something?) I will be very grateful (as I'm sure you can imagine, and no there isn't a backup!). - Paul. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------ | Paul Andrews | Post: Tenset Technologies Limited, | | paul@tenset.uucp | Norfolk House, | | Phone: +44 223 328886 | 301 Histon Road, | | Fax: +44 223 460929 | Cambridge CB4 3NF, UK. | ------------------------------------------------------------------
