Lines: 17 I recently bought (at a relatively mild price) a MiniScribe harddisk, type M3180S. Sold as a 110Mb disk, physically a 160Mb disk{. They just left out the 50Mb in testing. Anyway, I got the harddisk up and running, but I suspect some jumper-settings are incorrect. At first the harddisks failed completely, but removing one jumper got him formatted with SilverLining. I suspect, however, that I need to make some more adjustments, since behaviour is somewhat unpredictable. Did anyone here ever make a MiniScribe suitable for use on a Mac? Any considerations to take into account? Does anyone have a specslist of the critical jumpers? Much appreciated! -- Paul Molenaar "Just checking the walls" - Basil Fawlty -
