A friend (and prospective Mac owner) has an Alps Allegro 24 pin printer
he's hoping to use with a Mac SE.  The Alps is supposedly Epson-
compatible, but I'm not sure which Epson... or even LQ.

Is any one out there using a combo like this?  Think perhaps the
Grappler will work?  Which Grappler?  Pros/Cons for solutions?
