Thanks to all those who replied to by problem of having the system
crash when I called Random. <Thanks for replying in mail as well, for
some reason it appears to take upto 2 weeks for news threads to start
coming back here!>.   
 My problem was that I wasn't calling InitGraf first.
 
Can someone please repost the code examples for playing sound resources
made with the MacRecorder?   I know it was posted before, but it got
lost when my hard disk crashed.   
Does this suspiciously sound like I'm going to be making random sounds?
well, not yet anyways, these are for 2 different things at the moment.

Also, can someone send me the phone number & address for Chip Merchant?  That also was
lost in the HD crash.
