	Unfortunately, from my experiments, checking that box makes
stuffit spend a lot of time redrawing its status window, but gives very
little time to background tasks.  I watch my modem status lights to
check this, and in fact no pending data goes out regardless of which
way you set the box.  (sigh)

	I suspect this will be fixed in the commercial Stuffit when it
comes out, but I have neither omniscience nor a line to Ray Lau.
