Due to the flood of queries I have received with regard to the
MF->PostScript business, I promise that I will get out a 
detailed post describing the state of things as they stand.
However, it will take some time. I need to contact some people
in far away places and dig through some old mail archives to
get the necessary details together. Please do not send me any
more queries on the topic. I promise, the information will be
posted. (I'll also send it off to TeXhax, UKTeX, TUGboat, and
TeXMaG so that everyone will know what's going on)
