Message-ID: <1989Nov28.194913.21468@oxtrap.aa.ox.com> Date: 28 Nov 89 19:49:13 GMT Organization: Ocwen Trading, Inc. Lines: 16 I have purchased and installed the serial board from SuperMac. The board is cheap (~$500), clean, and appears to work flawlessly. It is half length, and has four DIN8 port right on board, thus no bulky cable like the AST. Installation software comes on a floppy and the installation process is absolutely painless. Paul Cambell, the board's designer, is working with SuperMac, and currently working out arrangements for marketing. So it may be a little difficult getting the right person on the phone. I would try asking about the board, and if they don't know, ask for Paul Campbell. I beleive he also takes email at: paul%taniwha%mtxinu%uunet%samsung@ginosko.UUCP If you need more serial ports on your A/UX box (and I beleive there will be MacOS support *very* soon) then I think this board deserves a serious look.
