Sorry to bug everyone with this "talk" problem, but it is really bothering
me.

I added my host name to the hosts table, and still no go. 

This may be became my machine looks to a campus name server to resolve 
all network id situations.  I have a file named resolv.conf which simply
has the following information:

doman           troll.gatech.edu
nameserver      128.61.1.251

Any thoughts?
