I need to copy some files over modem using xmodem...(or else I have to 
xfer them on a pc & then transfer them to a sun blek).

I've tried using tip & xmodem without success.  Is there a way to make this
combo work?  Is there a better way?  I tried PCOMM many moons ago and I
couldn't get it to work.

btw....this is a Sun 3/260 running SunOS 3.5.  I'm using xmodem (3.6) from 
the uunet archives.
