It is compiled and linked with X-windows as per the installation instructions and appears to work fine (i.e. brings up its own window, etc.). I am having one problem however. Every now and then characters get "eaten". This happens most often in isearch mode. It take three keystrokes to register one character. For example if I am searching for "house" i need to type "hhhooouuussseee". And if there is an "a" in the word that I am looking for (and I type "aaa") I get an "@" instead (there are similar problems with other characters as well). This also happens in auto-fill-mode; when a line wraps the next several characters get eaten. Anyone every encounter this before and/or have any ideas as to what the problem may be? Please e-mail replies.
