SCO Xenix 386 version 2.3.2 provides PTY's for use by the "mscreen" utility, which implements multiple virtual screens on serial terminals. I have been unable to find any reference to them in the manuals except some passing remarks in the mscreen(M) manual page and in a section in the release notes for 2.3.2 that describes "mscreen". The release notes talk about the "new" mscreen utility, so one might assume that pty's are also new (for 2.3.2). On the other hand, since they are essentially an undocumented feature there is no real guarantee that they work or that they won't be replaced by something else in the next release. They do seem to work all right with Emacs.
