The point has been made in rec.arts.tv.uk (by me) that rec is *not* the
appropriate hierarchy for this group, especially if it is only for better
distribution. I do think, however, that a group of this sort would be good,
perhaps soc.culture.uk? The recent discussions in r.a.t.uk back this up
[e.g. food, language, coins, and the current one on schools]. I suspect
the 2 groups will have many subscribers in common, but little crossposting.
Or, of course, we could create alt.soc.culture.uk. :-) :-) :-)
