There has been no traffic on any of the .misc groups (although there was a thread involving COBOL in comp.arch). I still feel that a new newsgroup is not warrented until traffic in an existing group or one of the .misc groups. BTW, I am in an MIS shop so COBOL is used extensively. I am not anti-COBOL Richard H.
