Other people want to see them in local time. How about a non-lethal compromise.... Define an X-Timezone header, which would give the timezone in which the sender is located, in terms of minutes east of Greenwich. Then people who like to see local time can have their newsreaders automatically adjust the time to local time. This is, of course, assuming that people have X-headers in their weed-out lists. -GAWollman
