Lines: 18 If you want to do this in a sane a logical way, do this: Date: whatever it is in GMT X-Localtime-Offset: -0800 So to get the local time at which that article was posted, add -8 hours to the GMT time. That solves ALL the problems, since the poster is supplying his local time offset and YOU can then see the timestamp on the article in GMT, his time, or your time. It even handles those bizarre places that are n.5 hours off GMT. You could just include it after the date on the same line, if you wish. e.g., Date: 29 Nov 89 12:53:48 GMT -0800 - Brian
