and then some other less pleasant stuff.  now jef seems fairly
reasonable, and while brad has his moments he's (imho) also fairly
reasonable. i've followed this thread and i have every reason to
believe i know what's going on and i think jef has made an
unsupportable attack.  of course maybe the posting was forged.  it
seems to be an non sequitur.  if someone has some deep insight into
this perhaps they can explain it to me *via mail*.
