I hope to review the durability of the agreement-- has it been a success from the perspective of the people of Grassy Narrows? How should "success" be measured? Would they choose to mediate (rather than litigate) a settlement again-- if they had the chance? Any information on this particular case, or on the applicability of alternative dispute resolution techniqes to disputes involving Native Peoples, would be most appreciated.
