I am planning a trip to NYC and called the Intrepid a few months ago for some information. The address is INTREPID SEA AIR SPACE MUSEUM, INTREPID SQUARE, West 46th Street and 12th Avenue, New York, NY, 10036. They sent me a couple of very informative brochures. It does not state the hours, but admission is adults $6.00, children (6-11) $3.25, and senior citizens $5.00. You are free to wander the carrier on a self-guided tour, and there is something called a "recorded tour" available. There is a gift shop and continuous showings of several films related to the Intrepid. Also open for tours nearby are the guided-missle submarine USS Growler and the destroyer USS Edson. It sounds very interesting. I would be interested to hear the impressions of anyone who has been there. Roger Kaufman NCR Corp. Wichita, Kansas Brought to you by Super Global Mega Corp .com
