I would like the students to get some hands-on practice (e.g., writing a program in Prolog), however, there are only sixteen hours in the course, so maybe a language is a bad idea. Maybe an expert system shell would be more appropriate? For instance, VP-expert or Level 5 (educational versions). The prerequisite for the course is "any computer experience." Any opinion?
