Among the four that received their strongest recommendation, the E-Tech Bullet E2400M has the lowest price. I am particularly attracted to it because of its ability to handle noisy lines, in addition to the low price. I circled the indicated Inquiry number of the Reader Service Card, but many months later, I've received nothing from them. So I tried calling them to ask for some product literature. The person who took my call said she'd send out the literature right away. You've guessed it: it's been over a month, and I've received nothing. So we have the unfortunate combination of a good modem, good price, and lousy support (apparently). The last of these is important only if the modem has reliability problems, or if the documentation is so poor that assistance is required (or anything else that might involve dealing with the manufacturer). Thus I'd like to ask if anybody out there has one of these modems and what their experience with it has been? Please e-mail responses to tholen@uhccux.uhcc.hawaii.edu Thanks in advance. --Dave Tholen
