Your plan is better I think.  Next Tuesday I will delete everyone who has
not specifically requested to be left on.  Until then I will not service
unsubscription requests, and you'll be deleted automatically at that time,
so please don't ask me to take you off the list now or then.  I will keep
track of all subscription requests.  Those requesting to be on the list
between this morning (12/12) and next week will be the only recipients of
the Perl-Users Digest as of next Tuesday morning.

In answer to another question, the Perl-Users list has been transformed
from a simple reflector address to a digestified list with a bidirectional 
gateway with comp.lang.perl.  The contents of the digests will be exactly
the same as the contents of comp.lang.perl.  I am aware of no other Perl-
related discussion lists.
