The problem has been found in the PostScript file that I recently posted asking
for help.

In case you are interested for future reference; the `gsave' command needed to
be placed in front of the macro definitions, instead of after.  Then the
command `initgraphics' needed to be added after the `gsave'.  That is all it
took.  Simple, but deadly.
