I'm looking for constraint-based approaches to the problem of scheduling a conference, i.e. matching people, sessions, time slots, and rooms under various constraints (e.g. session X will need a big room for 3 hours; speaker X isn't available Tuesday afternoon). Any pointers? -- Don Dwiggins "Solvitur Ambulando" Ashton-Tate, Inc. dwiggins@ashtate.a-t.com
