I caught some of the discussion. I am in a position to possibly benefit from what (I remember) this drive has to offer. I am interested in finding out the pros and cons of such a board. I'm running Microport UNIX SV on a '386. Overall things go pretty quickly, but heavy disk usage (compiling and especially new unpacking) results in noticeable system lag. If someone summarized or in some way archived any/all of the discussion and would pass it along to me at my address I would really appreciate it. (compress and uuen/decode available) Unless someone has something to add...
