You don't. To get ftp stuff from uunet, you ask them for it.
Unless they happen to have it on their system, in which case you
can just use uucp, as in `uucp uunet!~uucp/ls-lR.Z ~/', which
retrieves a directory listing of their uucp accessible archives.
