We're trying to get a 3com 3C503(EtherLink II) card running in
a COMPAQ deskpro 386s. We're trying to get it to speak to our
AppleShare fileserver, and sigh, not having much luck...

( no flames please, I understand that this group is *mostly* apple), but
it's an appletalk product(hence the posting).

We're running MLID(Multiple Line Interface Driver) and would really
like to keep this machine on the ethernet and not on a locatalk
network if at all possible.


Has anyone on this group made this work? Have you run into any significant
problems????
