I am trying to use PC-NFS to mount a drive on a DEC 3100, running Ultrix 3 (RISC). I must be able to use the NFS locking as the drive hold a PC application that MUST be shared. (Advanced Revelation 1.14). PC-NFS does'nt seem to be able to contact the lock daemons. Are 'lockd & statd' on Ultrix compatible with PC-NFS? Here is what 'rpcinfo reports': C:\>p:\nfs\rpcinfo -p cc-server3 [program, version, protocol, port]: [100005, 1, 17, 1025] [100003, 2, 17, 2049] [100008, 1, 17, 1035] [100024, 1, 17, 1039] [100024, 1, 6, 1024] [100021, 1, 6, 1036] [100021, 1, 17, 1150] [100020, 1, 17, 1153] [100020, 1, 6, 1037] [100021, 2, 6, 1038] C:\>p:\nfs\rpcinfo -u cc-server3 100021 proc 100021 vers 1 ready and waiting C:\>p:\nfs\net use q: \\cc-server3\usr\pc\arev /MS NFS053W : Unable to contact the Network Lock Manager on the server.
