We own many Compaq 386/16MHz systems which currently have 2 MBytes of
RAM.  Owing to the trend in PC software, we now require more like 4-6
MBbytes of RAM in each system.  Apparently the Compaq memory upgrade
card required is either unavailable or costs so much that we might as
well forget the system and buy a new one.  Is this correct?  Is there
any way to upgrade these systems cost-effectively?
